Contracted Guild Members
(NOTE:This idea was made to prevent scams within your guild.)
Everyone Guild Leader should know that players can leave your guild at anytime they please. Well sometimes this leads to problems, such as if you loan a person weapons or money from your 'Guild Vault'.
So I came up with the idea that you can 'Contract' a member into your guild. This option would appear underneath the invite space in the Guild Roster.
When you click on it, another window pops up with various fields to fill out.
1. Player name - Player's name your going to invite
2. Entry fee - set an entry fee if that player decides to join
3. Fee return - set a fee that a player must pay to the guild if s/he wishes to leave.
4. Restrict from GvG Battle for X hours - type in an amount of hours
(or)
5. Restrict player from GvG battles unless with a Guild leader / Officer.
6. Restrict player from leaving the guild for X weeks, X days and X hours. (Optional field)
7. Message Area - Place a message here to the character, like what your guild is about. 255 Character max.
8. Save choices for later use? - Click this option to save the choices you have made
9. Submit button - The player has been sent an invite and will have to read over the agreements and then has the right to accept or decline.
If a Contracted Member joins, s/he will have the tag [CONTRACTED] by his/her name while viewing the Guild Menu. The Guild Leader or an Officer may read over the agreements. Only the Guild Leader is able to remove the agreements.
Officers cannot send out Contracts unless it is switched "On" by your Guild Leader. This option will become available when a Guild Leader clicks on an Offcier's Icon in the Guild Menu.
Feedback and tweaks if you find any flaws please!

i agree w/ you. A member of my guild asked me if he could borrow 6.5k to finish his armor. As a guildmate, I gave him what he needs. The next day, when I checked who are online and I couldn't find his name in the list of members.

I was involved in a scam costing me 55 platinum... That is why I would like A.Net to think about adding this idea in as an anti-scam update.

Welcome to the internet. If there is a way that people can rip you off, they will do it. Stop trusting people and you can't get scammed. Back in the BWE, you could trust people, but now that every little brat can get the game, the community goes to the shredder.

I don't like the idea.. it punishes newer guild members who, perhaps quite innocently, decide that their current guild just "isn't for them". I had that happen to me when I first bought this game.. I realized the level of inactivity in the first few guilds I joined was incredibly high, and staying with the guild did nothing but hinder my chances at having organized fun with a team I actually enjoy.
If you are worried about trusting new guild members, then have them prove their trust to you, so they have no INCENTIVE to leave.
And, by the way, do you think having this program will give guild members motivation to STAY? It will just be hell for them, if they can't "afford" to leave their guild, and they will do everything in their power to get kicked from the guild, if you won't allow them to leave by their own will.
I think it's a bad idea, but with noble intentions. It is a good idea to want to have loyal guild members, but a bad idea to think you can force a player to have fun with a guild he doesn't feel he belongs in.
Just my two cents.

I think the contract thing is a good id 2 prvent some scams but still i think that beginning players shall trie 2 find the right guild 4 them so they must have an option of leaving(maybe on permission of leader) but still a contract would be nice(maybe it also would be cool 2 show of with it like "LOOK IM IN THIS HIGH RATED GUILD "

as stated in the first post, some ppl will join the guild and ask for gold and materials to do wahtever. as a guildmate, you feel like helping them. then u help then and they run away taking the big loot.
A lot of new players will join a guild and get things they need and leave. They just used the people who helped them. Yup, this is the internet, everyone scams each other, but having this agreement will help settle things of leaving guilds.
I suggest that they need a permission first from guild leader or officer. Talk things out first and settle debts or whatever borrowed. The leader and officers can only hold them for a certain amopunt of daysthe day they gave their notice to leave the guild.
